Great effort Steve, nice feed of fish.

An old sea dog once told me that if you find a good a pinnacle or rock with not much fish on it head back at a later time say around a tide change and you might find it loaded with fish.
    Cheers,

Good Report Steve and good fish as always!! I can just imagine the few words you said when the big Red made it back home, I have said those same words many times!! Keeps you going back for more thats for sure!

Nice work on the camera bracket too, and looks like it works a treat!!!

Have to agree with you on the GPS as well, I have been using one for a few trips now and am extremely happy with it, the big screen is so good when drifting and anchoring!

Thanks for sharing and I hope you get that big trophy red soon, you certainly deserve it!

Now they are good fis and that ball mount is a great set up.

I have never thought of mounting my canon solid like that. They are really good shots.

You can get a infa red remote control for that Canon ( I think) so you don't have to keep using the timer and you can set it to do a burst of 4 or more shots so you can get your fish to smile just right. Canon buttons hate wet and salty hands. . A polarised lens filter will protect your lens as well and you can get camera condoms ( no I don't know what they are really called) but are llike a glad bag with eleasticated bit that goes around your lens that will keep salt mist out of lens motors and camera and fishy fingers off the body.

Going through customs in the UK unpacked camera gear as a flash mount looked like a knife in the xray and bloke asked what was in the other packet ,a bit larger than 2 ciggy packets, - I said just one condom ( as that was always what we call em). . Poor bloke nearly choked on his tounge , didn't know what to say and his girl helper kept crotch watching. She was not impressed to learn it was for the camera not me. The look I got was as bad as a strip search.

Ahh they are called rain covers but I can't see the cheap near disposable ones I have used.
