    Capricorn Bunker Group

Fished the bunker group on the weekend with my brother in law on his 35ft flybridge Bertram. Awesome conditions (apart from the big tides), great mates and great boat to stay on for 3 nights. We got some good fish around the change of tides and a few good crays and trout when spearing too. Best part about the trip is that i got a nice red which pulled the bogas down to 24lb! A new PB and my first 10kg+ Red. Awesome conditions too!

Awesome, mate. Looks like a ripper trip. How was the vis and current with the big tides while you were spearing? Great result.

Visibility was fantastic, an easy 15m. Current was very tough if you had to turn around to go after something or to stay in one spot on surface. My legs are feeling it today!
