    YEPPOON Coast

Was fortunate enough to squeeze in two trips while i have been up on holidays visiting the family, Headed out for a wreckie and to check some points on boxing day. Found it to be a hard days fishing with only managing one legal fish in the icebox. ( coral trout )

Headed out on saturday night for a overnight trip in the afternoon, sky was looking a little bleak as we headed out but the old fishermen of a father ensure paul and I we wouldnt get wet, low and behold half way through the night we copped a bit of the rain.

headed back early on sunday monring with the conditions picking up and making less then comfortable with the trip in.

Ended up with a nice bag of fish.

Fishing can be defined as "A jerk on one end of the rod, waiting for a jerk on the other".
"Fishing was around along time before you darling"

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges
