Got a few Christmas Eve on this spot in the rough so headed there first thing this morning. On the way out nearly ran over a sunbathing marlin. Was on the drift but when the SW change came though went on the anchor. Got the cobe at anchor and also got smashed up by sharks. By then I had a couple of seasick people bobbing around at anchor so they suggested we go on the troll. Got one and missed one on the wahoo. Saw a freejumping marlin so put ourselves in front and got him on. Hook fell out after a while but could have turned a great trip into a ripper trip.

Bet the cobe gave someone plenty of arm stretching excitement and the hoo is a nice feed too.

Those tuskies are my darlings favourite fish - I am still to get her a coral trout or deepdrop ooglie to compare with

I am sure the marlin encounter was something for the punters to remember.

I suppose in your game you have to get used to the green company
