Butit failed to show what Wooli bar is very well known for.

That is the freak wave from the south smacking you just after the one your on sucks out from under you.

Especially when ya boats almost out of fuel

Honestly, the bars fine, just need a bit of commonsence, o that leaves you queerlanders a bit out of luck hahahahaha

Was up at the Wooli VMR on Saturday. Heard a story from a while ago about a Dive Boat that overturned coming back through the bar ... ended okay, aparently after the crew was tipped out it was that shallow that they stood up and walked to shore!

Took a couple of Photo's of the bar. It was 1205 pm 2 hours after the Low Tide, tide was definately running back in. Wind 10 Knots NE, Swell about 1 M.

Definate sand bar on the Right (Southern) side. Deeper water on the Left.

I will be at Wooli the week before the M&G and will have another chat to the VMR people and check out what the bar is doing then, if you follow the leads in etc....

Hi all, not sure on my attendance at this one as yet, for those who fished the fraser m&g I just put up a little video of Brodie with his fish, in the offshore reports along with the others from that trip. The " definition " of the distracted etc has been changed to include " texting or talking on a mobile phone " meaning it becomes a serious offence...

It will be included in the " Fatal Five ".... used to be the Fatal Four.

apparently in Queensland last year, 4 people were booked for " walking their dog, by holding the leash out the window while they were driving "..........

Reading Mattooty's post about deckie duties, I reckon anybody who could find a spot for him would do very well indeed.

Mattooty is a long term resident of Yamba and has been posting on here for a long time. If you read some of his reports, you'd see that he's also a very accomplished fisho.

He also knows that area very well.

Have I ever met Mattooty? Nope. Wouldn't know him from a bar of soap. I just reckon he'd be an asset to somebody if they had a spare spot.
