Few fish from Bundy recently

Been shooting out when the wind allows it which isn't very often..... sometimes just squeezing a few hours in the morning before it picks up Mainly just throwing Squidgy soft plastics around and a bit of trolling when the sounder looks good.
Also managed to get my son onto his first marlin on his first ever offshore trip which was a pretty special day! cant wait till summer kicks in!

There was 167 billfish tagged on the weekend for Hervey Bay's Gamefishing Comp, so there is plenty around!! I know one of the Gold Coast boats got a Blue, a Striped and a Black in the one day also last week.

By all accounts a very special day and a very special outing for the young bloke - marlin first up WOW!!

A life time of memories in that outing - thanks for sharing it.

Looks like the weather Gods smiled on you as well.

A few other very respectable good eating fish there also in the cod, spaniard, cobe, yellowfin and snapper - not one tiddler amongst them.

Some good fishing there mate- well done.

Is it just me or does that marlin look like it has a deformed head? Looks like it has a barra head (apart from the beak) and the eye looks like it has been shifted down to the top jaw.

lol looks like a normal marlin of that size to me...
