lake dyer

iam thinking about going for a fish at lake dyer at laidley i have been told there are a few yellas and silver perch there has anyone ever been there if so where would be a good spot to fish off the bank also is there anr redclaw there and would i be able to get shrimps there for bait thanks

I fish there on and off. To the left of the boat ramp there is a small inlet with some deeper water (next to several trees). I and the kids have caught Silver pearch there, mostly early morning/late afternoon (good sized ones!!!). We use worms for bait. The activity from the boat ramp doesn't seem to put the fish off!
Don't know about redclaw being there though?
