Perfect mate , just dont high stick it keep your angles low when you load up on a fish
If you dont have any hard body's for Barra ? i can send you a few
Cheers
I have read so much info on targeting barra and alot of the experts seem to think its got just as much to do with the rod/reel your using as it does the weather or time of day...
Dad bought me a very nice combo of a Shimano Curado 200G5 reel and Pflueger Trion HM45 graphite (5'10, 5-10KG) rod, and I thought that it was just MEANT to haul up some barra... But being graphite you can't lift the tip to high or put to much strain on the top of the rod?? Is this correct?? I absolutley love the reel, I could get my kicks just flicking a sinker around in the yard!!! But maybe a more bendy/flexible rod would give my lures better action and help me haul these barra out the water?? Opinions?
