Re: Need a concreter
Hello,
I forwarded your post to my brother who works in Concrete and he said this:
Would need to know exactly what the existing concrete is. I need to know who they got the original concrete from but it's likely won’t ever be able to match exactly. Plus it would need to come from the exact same plant and that plant need to have the exact same materials. It likely won’t ever match exactly the same as the existing concrete would have oxidised and aged.
Do you happen to have a photo?
I should be able to get it cheap for you, but will need some more info...

Re: Need a concreter
No it wont matter.
It will be broken by an expansion joint so it is just a new slab butting up to the existing slab.
The existing slab will have all sealant and colour removed and after new slab is done it will all be recolored and sealed at the same time so the concrete itself won't actually be visible.
Stamped in the driveway is an oval print with an old phone number and "slate print" which is the name of the stamp used.
I have been told the stamps still exist, it's just a matter of finding who has them...
I'll organize afew pics if it helps.
