Which lakes in SEQ can you camp at with dogs?

Thinking of getting in a camp weekend in the next month or so and trying to work out which lakes offer camping that allows small dogs - can anyone help?

SEQ Water wont allow dogs on the their dams, so you need a camping area far enough upstream its not their water, perhaps the bush camp at the back of Leslie dam?

Cania, Boondooma and BP dams do, and I think the Deer Park at Borumba might also.

Borumba deer park definitely do, and they have a 5 acre off lead area. Is only on the creek, but not far to the dam.... I'm not too sure as to whether you are allowed pets at the actual dam though... I think maybe not.

You only need one permit per couple (married or de facto), and if you are under 18 you don't need one at all.

No facilities there (just a bush dunny).
I did a thread here a while ago with some pictures with it but ring the council about pooches. They seem to inspect the area a bit more now because they go and pick up every ones rubbish.
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good

Thats right but you need to have your Wife/defacto's name put on the permit at the time of purchase. Under 18's and all dogs do not require a fishing permit on Qld SIP controlled dams.
