    55cm brisvegas bass

Went trolling the mt crosby section of the brisbane river and picked up 8 bass ranging from 20cm to 55cm. All taken on the same deep diver in gold. A mate of mine also got a 57cm donkey. 2 pics included.Click image for larger version.

Was probably a ex dam fish , gone over the wall during flood? Caught several large fish like this last season which I would think had the same origin .Still a great fish to hook up to & land all the same , well done once again .

I rate bass as an eating fish but their value in the water means it is a rare meal. Hell of a catch there.
