    Heading up this way in october, wondering if its worth packing in a fly rod aswell.

    Land based or boat?

    Try your hand at GT's and barra that hang along the beach from sugar loader jetty upto the mouth of the creek if you are on foot. If boat, there is heaps of stuff you can catch on fly rod.
