any HF Radio users??

just looking at options,,,, with the trip pending to Kalumburru NT,,, we are exploring avenues. All up we will have 3 trucks going,,, 2 are returning via Darwin,, 1 is going the opposite way and returning via Perth/Adelaide, then northbound before heading back to Brisbane

Satellite Phone's/UHF are also onboard,,, just poking out another thought,,,

Understanding these things aren't cheap,,, but the owner/driver is a "boyscout" when it comes to safety,,,

Hey Chop,
The HF I have heard is not that user friendly but there is always someone to convey the message,and sat phones are not that reliable
I carry the UHF and an epirp . sounds like you are in a convoy , you should be right

I think you can hire Codan Hf radios ?
They only have a couple of frequencies emergency ect ?
