Land based fishing on the GC

Hey guys. I recently caught my first fish on a SP and was looking for a few pointers as to how I can get more fish regularly.

What tides are better for what species and what SP have you found to be better for different species?

I usually fish the GC and the Redlands but would love any tips on land based fishing from the Redlands down to the GC.

I was thinking about heading down to the Paradise point bridge and fishing either side of the low tide on Sunday. Anyone else tried that area with any luck?

If you mean the bridge at Jabiru Island, I fished there recently - bream, whiting, tailor and trevally - all on bait though but they should take a plastic, although the tailor will destroy them.

Cool. Thanks but I was talking about the Ephraim island bridge. Looks like it has a nice park for the little one to play in while I have a fish.
