    Unhappy repairing taxidermied marlin

    in house moving, my taxidermied whole marlin's head snapped off
    the inside of him is polystiren .

    what glue to use? i will possibly dowel it as well

    any ideas will be great

    get yourself a foam vege box or similar and try a few different types of glue on it. some are guaranteed to melt the foam - dont use those.
    fishing's as simple as 3 P's - patience, perserverance and PLASTIC!

    Hey mate sorry to hear.
    Best glue to use is: Zap Foam Glue
    You can buy it from hobby stores, and toy stores with hobby departments in them.
    Make sure you don't use any glue not intended for foam as it will just eat it away.
    If you cant find it let me know and ill see what I have around home.

    I used to make insulated native bee hive covers out of broc boxes and just used white sicaflex but the join may be obvious colour.
