hey merseybluenose let me know if you want a deckie.
Cheers sam.
Have got the pass for 2 days fishing next week so gonna give mud a crack for the first time. Am thinking of launching from manly, never been there before, how long is the trip to mud?
Also, once there will be sounding around for a spot but any ideas??, is there more reef on one side??

G'day
How long is the trip to mud? how fast is your boat?
It's ~ 15km from manly (to the eastern side) , via nth of green and south off St Helena. If you're asking how fair it is.. I suggest you check your charts, especially for things like the reef and rock spits that jut out abruptly from the island in places.
Find the ground you wish to fish on, be patient and quiet. Anywhere from, 4.5-8m deep.
Read the reports, plenty of clues there.
