LOL and the Tripadvisor website has a few..... ahem..... less than flattering reviews.
Looking at taking a few families to Rainbow Waters Holiday Park in the summer. Does anyone have any opinions first hand? Will be families with kids aged 4 - 10. More interested in the park itself and it's ammenities etc than what to do around there (that wont be a problem). We will be looking at booking about 4 powered sites and maybe an ensuite cabin (for the weak ).
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

we stayed there Sept school holidays last year. We loved it. Big open campground, lots of room between powered sites (not like some where your ropes overlap with the neighbour). can still have a campfire. Clean park, clean ammenities, reasonable playground for little kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful. 2min walk to boat ramp and some nice big sandflats at low tide for the kids to play.
only downside, is its at carlo point, which is a 5 min drive from the main part of rainbow beach and the cool beach (bigger kids!!)...but thats not a big thing. Cant comment on the cabins, but they looked OK.
Cheers Steve
