Steber 455 Day Cruiser hull - Good or Bad?
Hi, Just wondering if anyone has had experience with the above boat - steber 455 day cruiser? here is a link to the boat: http://www.steber.com.au/files/455-Day-Cruiser.pdf
I'm looking at converting it to a cc with front casting deck. Would mostly use it in a Lake/river but if conditions were alright take it offshore (<1-2m swells and low wind etc).
Or
Should I keep looking for an old haines 445? is there another boat in the 4.5m that could be converted?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
Cheers,
Dunwick

It would be a shame to cut it up.
Keep looking I reckon as they're quite a narrow beam for the length of the hull.
And they'd roll a fair bit as a result I reckon. Have a gander at the picture with only old mate sitting at the helm. The boat's listing a fair bit.
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good
