Best months to fish whitsundays

Just wanting some idea when best fishing months for whitsundays are.

september is my prefered month

took the wife up to hamilton island a few years back in january, paid big dollars to go on a charter and caught nothing but catfish, i'm sure there would have been plenty of pelagics around at that time though

Plenty of Spaniards around in late winter through to early summer. Weather can be hot, but awesome around Christmas, but ewatchout for the cyclones!

Hopefully its good next weekend, when I'm going to try to get up there again (bloody work)

September & October are considered with best months mate
