whatsamatter brett? your boat getting too small?
Hi Gents,
I want to fit a tackle Cabinet/Trays into my boat. I'm using Tackle box's at the moment and its getting to be a pain.
I am hoping some of you might have some advice and photos of your set ups to give me a few different ideas.
Cheers Bull

fishing's as simple as 3 P's - patience, perserverance and PLASTIC!
I fitted one of these, but should have made room for a couple more.

Maturity is not when we start speaking BIG things,it is when we start understanding small things
i once saw one of those metal tool boxes (the ones mechanics use on wheels) mounted in a boat obviously without the wheels.
not sure about rust issues etc... and would depend on size of your boat too!
it did work a treat however.
I am a fan of the Tackle bags with the plastic trays... Then you just need to pack it with what you want to fish for.
Take an extra bag of mixed tackle and throw under a seat incase you need it.. simple and out of the way.
For the price of Tropicrows you could buy 10 bags !!
But mine looks better and it out of the way. It's only money.....!!

They are far cheaper from the USA ,I'm looking at doing the same thing.
looking at the price of bruces, i would be inclined to make my own from 6mm ply and buy a tackle bag with boxes. use the boxes in your cabinet and if you are fishing away from your boat you can pack em in the bag and go mobile. wouldn't be too hard to knock up something just as good for the cost of a sheet or 2 of ply and some spray paint.
