The vedette reminds me of a HH17L. I wonder what the deadrise is? Also wonder how much imput Lindsay Fry has had there.

An interesting way to compare is to look at the 6.2m boats.

The real Seafarer Vagabond weighs 1300kg while the haines re-badged units of 6.2m length weigh all of 750kg. Hum wonder which rides softer......

Thats not good any way you look at it. Light weight fibreglas travellers passed off as Seafarer's, is not good at all... Come on Haines Group do the right thing by the Seafarer name....

looked at the new seafarer yesterday at tinnie and tackle show. looks like a signature to me!! nothing like the old seafarers!! i once heard a well known fisherman / boat tester say he hasn't driven too many better boats than a old seafarer 6m victory with a 150hp on the back.

Re: new seafarer range/or should i say haines

went to the show on friday ..... had a look at that boat....same boat in the pics....dont know what to say ...........not a seafarer thats for sure .....didn't even take my boots off to have a look ..... cabin was a bit small, the walk-around deck is a step in well type just didn't fit with the hull ... no ware near the attention to detail as the old seafarers, I could go on, but I am not going to bag it as... everyone has their own opinion .... a real seafarer owner would know what iam talking about when you see one up close.........seafarer is no more just rebadged haines

So this year at the show, there will be a new V Sea, Viking and Victory for display.

Now that I have a 2005 Victory, I am really keen to see how the new models look! Looking forward to it!
