unfortunate but hilarious article....their age was a dead give away - classic example of this new generation coming through that place such a reliance on technology to deliver a solution they can't even accept reality when it's staring them in the face!!!

Although somehow I'd hope my 19 year old daughter in the same situation would have rung me first before she kept driving....she has confessed though to driving in completely the wrong direction, in familiar surroundings, because the Tom Tom was programmed to go somewhere else but said that was the way to go

A Current Affair just broadcast this as well, the funny side, the reporter used her own GPS system and it didn't warn her either, and when she went the correct way, her GPS advised her to turn back?.
