I might go & catch a couple when I am sick of catching jackets, (this takes about .2 of 1 trip)
just to remind myself,

gonna be teaching the girl to drive soon,

maybe salmon will be better with beer
(only trouble will be that she will want to take them home)

They do make good crab bait...but 5 is enough crab bait for the season...so what do you do with the other thousand? Silly question I know...let em go just like the jackets

YEP, I let every jacket go that I dont want...........
after it has bounced off the side of the boat/bait board/anything else that is solid,

Not sure on the details, but I believe that the NSW Lib Gov has brought in a qouta for salmon......darn fantastic move IMHO.
Apparently not a large quantity though, worse luck......

Unfortunately Muzz there's no bait board to break the salmons fall when we fish off the rocks...We may have a problem though. Rabbi was on Sth wall last night and "allegedly" there were a car load of our "asian type" friends filling buckets with foot long choppers...anything that made it onto the wall stayed ....So my friends there may not be many left by the time you come for your fishing trip
