Awesome video mate.
Thanks heaps for the upload
Went down to North Pine river again this morning, thought we would take the new video camera along. Caught at least 40 bass most legal and a couple of yellowbelly. Biggest bass was 50cm and biggest yellow slightly bigger.
All caught using live shrimp fished a few feet under a float.
Took a home a couple of the larger bass and a yella.
It takes so long to edit and upload these things.
any questions comments welcome
cheers

Hey Rainbow runner
That is a great video. And love that float set up, can you give me the run down on how you set it up. Simple works so beautifully Cheers Budgebass
The line runs through the float letting it slide up to the leader knot or float stop(just a knot or piece of rubber in the main line that wont fit through the hole in the float). the sinker is just heavy enough to pull the line through to the stop when it lands in the water.
This technique works well in quite a few applications like live prawns and herring drifted across rock bars and along mangrove edges.
hope this helps

I finally had some success in a creek not far from Roma.
Bait: LIVE SHRIMP supplemented with live earthworms.
I also love to use bait suspended below a float, but unfortunately I haven't caught much that way.
I got a close to 3kg yella using live shrimp and a very light sinker running down to a smallish live bait style hook.
Another smaller yella I caught was using the same technique but with worms.
Your fish are awesome. I wish the little creek I've been fishing in was productive as North Pine!!
