The camp ground about 500m north of bulwer is fantastic. Nice and shady and grassy. And you. An walk to the shop for anything you need.
Have pulled the pin on Hinchinbrook this year and have decided to do Moreton for about 10 days in June/July. After some ideas of where to camp. Probably towing camp trailer and are pretty self sufficient but may need water after 5 days or so. Would want an easy walk to fish and for the kids to swim/freeze at the beach. Are there good spots to camp on the ocean beaches? Similar to Straddy?

mate just like straddie, if you like beach fishing and still want to be close to facilities like fresh water then try blue lagoon campsite
Yea Blue Lagoon is pretty comfortable. Its a bit of a walk to the beach but has toilets and last time I was there cold water showers
