little barra in the Mooloolah Rv

Just talking to a guy who caught a 45cm barra in the Mooloola Rv yesterday on a SP, he ID'd the fish and it dived into a snag, and released itself....

Anyway I like to hear these stories , gives me a bit of confidence .....

I was told the bli bli barra farm flooded years ago and some big beeders got out so no surprise there is a healthy population up there. Good fun if you can hook 1. Good luck.

Got a little barra in My cast net a year or so ago in the canals of redcliffe. 30mins north of brizzy. Post is on here somewhere. Check it out. There was a write up in one of the sunshine coast papers about a 1.12m barra caught at kawana (think that post is on here too.) Heard a story of a biggun caught.a bribie too. They're around if u know where to look.
