Anyone with a VHF in the Rochedale/Springwood area?

I've got a feeling my VHF is not transmitting. Last trip out I called in to log off with VMR Raby Bay and didn't get a response (yes I was on the right channel). Went up stairs and they said they didn't get the call. I logged on in person that day so maybe the radio hasn't been working for a couple of weeks. Probably won't get out for another couple of weeks so wouldn't mind testing it in the mean time. Any other suggestions on how to troubleshoot? If there's someone in the Rochedale/Springwood area that could spare a few mins I'd appreciate it if I could try and call them.
