Anyone know what radio Channel to use out at the Banks to chat with VMR and Coastguard ??

also what is the best channel to chat boat - boat without annoying coastguard all day with fishing banter ??

If you can supply your call sign so others can contact you on the water it might be a good idea...

I havent been on much due to family commitments and i find another m&g. i have been wanting to get to the Barwon banks for the first time so i will add myself as a maybe weather and deckie dependant....

Ahh yes the weather!?

Checked the rain gauge at 6pm and it was 176mm - reckon over 200mm by now as it only got heavier and non-stop since then - supposed to be pretty poor this coming weekend too.

Here's hoping for some stable weather once this stuff gets it out of it's system.

I would be keen to know a good bait mark from Mooloolaba too.

Have been told shark nets and dropping onto bait balls found out trolling - there must be a shallow reef where they are on the way to the Banks or Hards?

Easy fix Tim, take my boat, bring it back clean, sorted mate! I can't go because of my wife giving birth within that period.
