nav light wiring

hey all i put up a simillar post last week about the cheapest nav lights,well im going to whitworths on friday to get some(all three)and what i need to know is how to wire them up.
i have switch bored on the boat and i want to run the lights with a small 12vt battery.so if anyone can give me some wiring adice on how to wire it up that would be great.

Make sure you mount them so they are in accordance to the rules as well ey.

Or simply do a search for "boat wiring diagram" or "how to install nav lights" and a lot more hits come up

Did you do your research as to how and where your lights need to go?
What size/type of wire and switches are you going to use?
