New to fishing

Hey guys,

My names Jack, I have recently gotten into fishing, me old man passed away when i was very young and i've never really had the chance to go fishing until now.

Im located in the Brisbane area, unfortunately don't have a boat yet so I am only really able to do some land based.

I have been going out every day to the clontarf area and not able to catch anything, if anyone could help me out with any land based spots were i could have a chance that would be great.

Hoping to meet some people in the Brisbane / Gold coast area to go out fishing with over the holidays.

Lots of good info here and helpful people. PM me with your contact details if you would like to do some landbased fishing up at Caloundra? I am not back from USA till late Dec, but happy to take you to some spots early Jan. (I start early though!!). Happy to share my knowledge mate.
