By the write up in the Courier Mail it sounds like a good thing

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Still wondering if it's worth the twenty bucks.

Havent seen the new one but navionics is great - they will suck the life out of your phone battery though.

I had 2 12v sockets installed and run the phone on a charger no probs

I haven't used Fish Boat Nav as yet, however I have been using Navionics (for iPhone) for some time. Navionics doesn't appear to have as many features as Fish Boat Nav, however it still boasts many useful features, it's easy to use and quite stable (in latest releases).

    Re: Fish Boat Nav

I have bought the Fish Boat Nav and i also have navionics . The navionics is great for checking out the charts and tides but the fish boat nav for the extra 6 bucks does that as well and heaps more . it was built by a fisho for fishos . To be able to keep a history with photos of the fish caught and all the other details i want to add such as time , tides moon phase what bait lure etc, and tap it into my phone is a big plus . It also has a massive directory and links to relevant sites us fishing types cant do without . Thats my 2 bobs worth.
