Just joined Ausfish today

Hello.

I am new here,this is my first post-basically a test really-I've paid my ten dollars.So look forward to reading and learning,and seeing what goes on here.

My avatar name is 'darter'-after those cool looking birds that spear and catch fish in the rivers and bays.My name is Chris.

So hope to meet some people that fish S.E QLD -salt water species.I do not like fishing freshwater in QLD-it stinks.But love the idea of trout fishing in freshwater rivers down south N.S.W and Victoria.

I've been fishing since 6 yro old.and enjoy it very much.

Welcome Chris, The people here can be extremely helpful and there is plenty of information to be found in older threads.
Are you landbased or normally fish from a boat.

I am land based-fishing salt water. Mainly Sunshine Coast (QLD) of the beaches.

Targeting Jew,Tailor,on the bigger rods and Sand Whiting with smaller gear.
