Wireing connection of Faria Fuel Flow Gauge

Hi Guys

I am wireing up my fuel flow meter. The flow transducer has 3 wires (white, black and silver) that connect to white black and green on the Guage. This leaves one red and one green wire remaining from the guage. Am I right in assumIng these are: red = DC Input voltage to positive terminal on Bus Bar, and Green (DC input voltage ground) to Earth or ground. If so where is the earth or ground located on a boat usually?

Should be a busbar with all your -ve's on it
Be careful though. Green is not necessarily earth on 12 v systems
Check your diagram

Once you confirm the + and - I'd hook it to the motor accessories wiring do you have any other gauges on the dash?

Hi Guys I have about 5 other gauges and I have wired red to positive and green to black on bus bar and all seems to be working fine. Hopefully problem solvered.
