photo gallery help.

In "windows explorer" my photo gallery screen looks weird ? and I am unable to upload any new photos.
I can upload photos using "google chrome". I also don't appear to have any "Albums" what is the difference between an Ablum and a Gallery ??

Thanks for all that Steve. There is still one problem, when I open a gallery, the buttons/text in blue that are used to edit, delete, add etc are nearly covered over by the words “Gallery Photos” and you can’t select them.
