Were you landbased, or fishing from a boat/canoe/kayak?

Fishin from coleman scanoe with electric fitted .
fished in & around newly fallen snags from the floods .
Looks like it might be a improved year for the bass.

Hi Grinner, I've been getting them on small vibes and blades. Fishing deep with a very slow retrieve has work well, have started to see the bust up on the surface late in the arvos and managed a couple on jitterbugs after dark but its still not peak season yet.... This season I've tagged and released 26 bass in 3 sessions, ran outta tags after the first but still released another 6-7. The biggest going 510mm.

    Cheers, Mick.

Where is a good place to launch and start exploring the upper reaches of the brisbane river lads?

I have a scanoe with electric so range is pretty good.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

Number of good spots to launch from , Twin Bridges , savages , Burtons bridge, Lowood.
Some have easy access to the water others take a little effort .
