    G'day Toddy

Scalem on here makes them from home, he makes them in various weights. The one i was using in the photo is a 4oz as we were fishing in 85-90 metres of water. He can powdercoat them in a few different colours including glow in the dark which is what i was using. I'm not sure what hooks he uses but they seem to be strong and i couldnt straighten them with my saltiga's drag cranked up a fair way. Drop him a PM if your interested in some as im sure he will be happy to help you get your hands on some.

    Re: Z man

    Thanks Tim.
We used to get them around that size years ago from the Tacklewarehouse and they were reasonably priced but now for a similar major brand it costs an arm and a leg.
Bloody hell...90 meters...that just sounds like hard work to me.
We werent fishing that deep with them.

Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
    Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

    Re: Z man

Thanks Tim. Now that you have sampled how well they work, cheers for the plug.

Toddy, the hooks used are Mustad 34184 which are an 8/0, 60 degree, plenty strong enough to pull the big boys in. I have another hook called the big game Mustad 34081 which is a 10/0 used with the same weights. Try bend that sucker! Sizes are 2.5 , 3 and 4 oz Powdercoated in Chartreuse, white and pink. I think the White is all you need, it actually glows a green colour.

Yeah pretty good, as someone said they are exactly the same as the strike king ones. Not as soft as snapbacks though which are my favourites. Ben

    Re: Z man

mate just check out any of stotty's post... thats all he seems to use and kills em every time. well almost.!!!
i had a talk to justin the other day and this is what he told me.

    Hi Wayne,

Thanks for your interest in the ZMan product. The 5" StreakZ have been going
well on the flathead, trevally and also on pelagic species.

Unfortunately being relatively new no-one on the Gold Coast has picked up
    this particular model as yet.

Stores that stock ZMan gear, such as Doug Burt, Gold Coast Fishing Tackle
and Go Fishing (Nerang Disposals) can order in other models and colours and
we dispatch orders virtually the same day, so if they were to do a ZMan
order they would have it within a day or two.

The 5" StreakZ in Bubble Gum part number is 2825 if you are wanting order
    through these stores.

Alternatively you can order ZMan, including the 5" StreakZ Bubble Gum online
    from Tackle Warehouse at
    http://tackleware.cart.net.au/index....treakz&search_
    in%5Bcat_id%5D=ALL&search_subcategories=0

    Cheers,

    Justin./

so mate get in first on the ground level,,,
