    Shimano T curve travel rod

    Hi all,

    need to buy a travel rod to sneak into my bag to take to work, looking for a heavy rod 15-24kg spin, was wondering if anyone has one of the T curve ones? Will be using braid and jigging / general purpose chasing big critters.

    cheers Richo

    not too sure how small a rod has to be that will "sneak" into a bag, let alone one that will cope with 24KG! and a reel will need to be hidden in the bag too.

    T curve do a 3 piece rated at 15-24kg, and have a pretty big bag about a meter in length. Next job we will be working out of Darwin and should provide some opportunities for some deep water jigging.

    Finally christened my new travel set up;
    24kg t curve travel, 760 Penn Slammer with 50lb braid. Very happy with it do far: made short work of 3 reef sharks to 1.5m and this nice 1.3m Spanish. Nice gutsy rod.

    Cheers Richo
