    RED EMP something defferent

    After a few successful red sessions of late and plenty of fillets in stock, i tried something a bit outside of my square anyhoo.
    melt some fresh garlic butter in a hot pan or on bbq plate, bit of s&p on fillets/steaks and sear them on each side for about a minute just to get them a bit brown and remove from pan/bbq and place them on a oven tray , thinly slice some fresh tomatoes(home grown if poss) and a nice cheese(i use dutch maasdam)that wont melt away to an oily mess on the tray, place a few slices of tommy season with some cracked black pepper then drape some slices of cheese on top and whack them into the oven on moderate to high temp for around 10 mins dependeing on thickness of steaks. plate up with some salad and homemade wedges and a few cold stubbs and enjoy
