I did a lot of light line fishing over the years - most of my ANSA sportsfishing masters fish came on 1kg mono ......... anyhow I just feel that a superline like 3kg Nanofil is thin enough ( probably thinner than 1 kg mono) ......... Even the specialists / tournament guys drop braid in favor of straight fluorocarbon / hybrids if fishing pressured fish in gin clear water.
To me it just seems like you are putting too much pressure on your fishing system going down when in most cases you don't need to - specially when a line like nanofil is so thin anyhow.
