No dramas mate. I'd be checking out the beaches closer to tweed for tailor and salmon at the moment. They just aren't that thick here at present. I had a spin for half an hour on Wednesday arv and snagged one chopper but they're certainly not thick and I wouldnt drive any more than 5 minutes to fish the area let alone all the way from your location

Nah mate no 4wd needed, its easy access on the highway between Lennox and Ballina. Have a look on google earth, type in skennars head and it should take you straight there.

Thinned out a lot but it may be a bit early to say they are gone.

Yeh I agree mark. It makes my Sunday's a lot easier when they are gone but I would rather eat them than snapper though.
