A mate and i did it at xmas time in 2008 , far too hot at that time of year , fantastic hike though. We did it the opposite to most starting at the southern end , the poor buggers at the boat pick up from the resort had to share their boat ride home with two smally hikers LOL .

Mate I reckon south to north would be hard let alone in the middle of summer. Great effort and I reckon you would smell after that.
