Watched a documentary about Andrew McAuley on discovery channel yesterday, attempting to cross Tasman sea from Tasmania to NZ, 1600kms in a pretty much standard kayak, alone.

I havent been in to kayaking seriously before accept few joy trips, my knowledge in this field is limited however the determination and willing to frontier of Andrew McAuley is simply unimaginable.

Tried searching in the forum, doesnt look like its been covered before.
