Well folks that time of year again
Tentative dates are 6-7th August, will try a different month this year

lop sided Bait 5 Plastics 3
Entry Fee will be $10 as usual going to a VMR.

Thanks Pete. I am happy to fish either stinky bait or placcies (no prejudices here), am more comfortable with bait though (its whatI have caught most of my fish on over the years), and I know how hard you fish, so I hope I can contribute to the trip.

Count me in, Love the R2M I missed out last year as my boat was a little small and the winds were abit too much but this year new boat and I'll be flicking the plastics for sure. Can we change to bait once the sun goes down???

It isn't really a comp. More of an excuse to get together with a bunch of other ausfishers for a barbie breakie on a cold Sunday morning and see how we all went trying to dong a few bream and snapper. I have been to all 5 of them so far. Froze on a couple of occasions as it always seems to be the coldest night of the year. Good fun though. The first year it was a bream comp, since then it is open to other categories of fish. Chong has won the unusual/other species division 3 times with a mussel, a big wobbigong, and a whale. Though nobody believed the last one .

The second year if I recall correctly was also when soft plastics came in, and Foggy nailed the overall with a big snapper. Plastics have been a bit quiet the last few years so would be good to see a few more entries (so I can beat them on bait ).

ditto to what Cheech said..a lot of fun with a good bunch of blokes..nothing serious..but will you guys do on the radio this year Cheech with no fire truck out there.

The Fire Truck may make an appearance if Mike is not on roster at the VMR.

Standard dress this year will be Moccasins or Ugg Boots.....

Your boat safety gear will be checked and anyone without a bottle of GGW will be disqualified

I also think Shane ( robersl ) should be on a handicap

As a couple of others have mentioned this is not a comp more a gathering of clowns that like to freeze there man bits off and attempt to catch a few fish and share a few stories and medicinal beverages throughout the night.
