Washer removal or not for new Stradic 3000

    Hi all,

Just had my new Stradic delivered. Sweet looking reel. In the destructions is says that for braid loading the front up more with a slight cone back down at the rear of the reel is the best. The instructions are not that clear, but it says less washers loads to the front of the reel...there are 2 on the spool shaft as standard...does on both of these come off because it seems that the reel will load equally from factory?

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers

All reels vary slightly between each other in how they load up with line. Only sure way to know is to suck it and see. Fill the spool up and see how it looks, if its tapered wrong to your liking remove the line then adjust the washers and reload.
Personally I prefer the taper going the other way being slightly broader at the base than at the lip. 1mm of taper is all it takes to make an improvement.
    Jack.

You just have to suck it and see. Mine filled well with 8lb Microfuse
