Hi All,
Heading to 1770 on friday for a week with the tinny and the 7m cruise craft just wondering if anyone has been there recently or has any reports. Also just wondering if anyone has any tips for that region especially with the crab pots.

Change the title of this thread to 1770 / Angnes Water(no s) or 1770/Angnes Water Guru mod Lucky_Phill ( 2 Ls) will get you on the spelling of Agnes Water !
If ya need marks for bait grounds out front let me know or LP (2Ls) can post up. If ya trolling south of Round Hill creek in the big blue stay out of casting distance of the blokes casting from the rocks or you may end up with a slug in ya boat.
Head to the Agnes Water Taven for a beer and a feed. Plot your path in/out of Round Hill creek if ya plan comming back after dark it can be alittle tricky comming back in. A good spootie finding the green marker is handy after dark. There are a couple of creeks north of 1770 worth visiting if the weather turns to shite, Middle or Eurimbula (sp?).

Yep was up there last week. took a 6.2m boat only time it got wet was when it rained blew the dog off it's chain the whole time.
Lucky we also took a tinny with us, 5 of us running 12 pots ended up with 44 legal keepers for the week. Ratio of bucks was higher than ever this year but some of the Jennies were over 22cm and fat. Look for the deeper water as there was still a lot of fresh on top. We had most success on the new moon run out tide which seems to go against the grain but you never stop learning. Has taken about 5 years of going there to work out the crabs.
We also headed down to Baffle Creek for a look lots of territory to cover down there, didn't have it sussed but still got a few from down there also.
Pub is good now it has been done up.
Regardless you will have a ball it is a great place.
