My diary is empty that weekend and even though I dont eat a lot of seafood I am tempted to come along. the menu looks really good. I'll check with the boss tonight to make sure we have nothing on. I might be able to scam a lift with the wife greg, she wont do a seafood restaurant but she might give us a lift!

Not sure how much you want to pay Greg but I stayed here one night with my grandkids and it was really nice.

Manly hotel but from what i remember in my young days use to get pretty loud, mind you that was some years ago

I am sure there are other places around there, just a matter of looking.

I have to pull the pin now........got retrenched today.....could swing for the meal but the accomodation or cab fare is too much. Need to pull the horns in a bit until I get another job. No big package this time.

I am beggining to wonder what black cat ran in front of me, or how many yella fellas I ran over. Third time in the last five years I have been made redundant. Maybe I keep choosing the wrong employers or industries.

Sorry to hear Greg is anyone interested in still doing this as I was not aware it would be mothers day? Let me know.

Greg I have another suggestion and may suit a lot more people. How about a BBQ at our house and I will throw in the accommodation for you for free? Or even dinner here and each person be responsable for one dish. Could set a theme to make it interesting. Something like a progressive dinner but stay at one place?

Now that could be interesting Sandy. Some us wannabe Masterchefs could show our talents (or lack thereof). Though mothers day weekend may throw a spanner in the works (I didnt realise it that weekend either). Maybe on a different weekend???
