Blood and guts is always nice on a new reel
Hi all,
I recently picked up a Rovex Big Boss 7500 reel, more of a spur of the moment job than anything else, plus the big water snake had knocked $100 off the normal retail price.
Can't make up my mind what line to put on it.
Thought I'd try it out on a bit of bottom bashing in the future, probably around Mooloolaba and maybe out off Rainbow Beach.
Anybody got any suggestions?

I intend on living for-ever....so far so good
TOL - Isn't there an add on Ausfisher selling braid for $10 for 300 meters. I think 50 pound braid should be good for those 30cm tailors
anything ya happy with.
Me, I'd go a low stretch low diameter mono in the 30 -40 lb class.

Didn't you pull some wire off the Hill's hoist that got splatted by the tree??
Will that go on?

Timdo,
I think he's got some 80lb stuff there as well. Might load it up with that.
Finga,
I wouldn't want to go too heavy. It's probably 7 strand wire. Maybe I could unravel it and just use the one strand.
Or better still, I could ask Aigutso for advice. He'd probably recommend 80 lb braid with 130lb mono leader just to be safe.
Phill,
Thanks for your suggestion.
