Re: Fishing in Dubbo NSW
Mate,
The river in Dubbo has started to clear. Cod are being caught regularly on spinnerbaits, trolled hardbodies, grubs, live yabbies, worms and peeled yabby tails.I heard one group of anglers managed to catch and release 9 cod the other day between 6 and 16LB near Narromine!
Burrendong continues to fish very well, with stacks of Redfin, and Goldens up to 50CM very common trolling and casting lures in the main bassin. The up coming Lake Burrendong Classic is at Easter time if you would like a shot at $30,000 worth of prizes as well! Check out www.iwra.com.au
Good Luck, Matt Hansen.
