Morning all,
I need a new rig , as my old one is at the bottom of Leslie Dam(but thats another story). Seeing that I have not bought a rod/reel in over 15 years, I need some direction . Ideally it would be able to handle
bait fishing
plastic fishing
hopefully a bit of trolling.
The other thing is I am not looking at spending a squillion on it. I know I have made it hard but is there something out there that fits the bill.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry , it will be used mainly for freshwater , also will be used for flicking lures

at $200 I would be looking at combos, if you play with them you will get one that just feels right. I would look for a little daiwa reel and a graphite rod that feels good.
$200, check out a raider rod 3-6kg matched with a sedona 2500
(when Im dead) my biggest FEAR is that my wife will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.........
SMOKED has pretty well nailed what i would have recommended aswell.
