    Changing out a reel seat

    I have a new Okuma Makaira 10 on the way, but I am dissappointed to read it wont fit my rod - as it uses the Fuji PSS reel seat.

    Has anyone ever had a reel seat changed out? I'd just like to know by who, and a rough price for it? I am not even sure it will be worth it.

    Ben,
    Ive changed a few reel seats for people.It depends on what seat you want installed aslo cork or hypalon and gimble .

    Luckily there was a delay in the order, and I changed it over for a Talica12II.

    No dramas now.
